Hello, Vibrant Reader!

watermelon lizards So far this summer, we've had some very gratifying feedback from new users of our popular E-3 Energy Cream, as well as some of our "regulars." Darcy, from here in Oregon, gives E-3 as a gift to family members for their birthdays and other occasions, and has seen conditions from leg aches to diaper rash relieved in those she loves. Rosalee, a new client was blown away when E-3 managed her longstanding shoulder pain when nothing else ever worked over the years. Read about more E-3 successes on the website, and feel free to send in yours. That's why we love this job!

Every once in a while a news story hits me just right (or wrong), and makes me mad. One story we've included in our Vibrant Living Tips section below. Although I've read extensively on the health dangers of processed sugars, and countless health pundits have preached about it, the "food industry" blindly continues to distract and re-package the stuff in a wider and wider array of products. The thing that ticks me off is the promotion of a processed sugar carrier as a "health food," and some of the worst offenders use this strategy.

Because sugar is naturally enjoyable taste-wise, food profiteers exploit the effect despite mountains of medical data showing all kinds of harm. I guess it's the "profits over public welfare" issue that got me going on this. Luckily, that mountain of medical data does make it out into the general consuming public, and at least in my case, it changed my consuming habits away from processed sugars.

I suppose it was because of that mountain of data against sugar that caused the sugar peddlers to go into stealth mode. But government subsidies for the manufacture of processed sugar certainly are partly to blame. If there was a subsidy for making natural alternative sweeteners such as Stevia or fruits, there could be a significant social impact. The difference, I reckon, is subsidizing existing crop infrastructure versus creating a new one, and that just gets down to plain old laziness--money for nuthin'...

Nonetheless, hope springs eternal for such trends as community gardens, urban farming, and the embracing of the organic lifestyle. It's all a matter of perspective.

Until next time...

In vibrant health,

sugar Beware of stealth sugar...
We know that refined carbohydrates cause spikes in your blood sugar levels, tell your body to store fat, and put people at increased risk for diabetes. A dollar will buy you about 75 calories' worth of fresh broccoli, but food manufacturers can use that same dollar to purchase 1,815 calories of sugar. And thanks to government subsidies, high fructose corn syrup--the synthetic sweetener found in so many of the foods in our grocery stores--is even cheaper. It should come as no surprise, then, that added sugars are sabotaging nearly ever packaged and prepared food we put in our bodies--pasta sauces, smoothies, even whole grain breads. To help you avoid the impact of stealth sugars that run rampant through our food supply, we've sifted through all the nutritional data to name the eight biggest sugar bombs in America...

  • Most Sugar-Packed Breakfast Cereal - Quaker Natural Granola: Oats, Honey & Raisins (1 cup): 30 g sugars, 420 calories
  • Most Sugar-Packed Salad - Uno Chicago Grill's Spinach, Chicken and Gorgonzola Salad: 38 g sugars, 720 calories
  • Most Sugar-Packed Side Dish - Boston Market's Cinnamon Apples: 42 g sugars, 210 calories
  • Most Sugar-Packed Sandwich - Subway's Foot-Long Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki: 38 g sugars, 740 calories
  • Most Sugar-Packed "Healthy" Food - Panera's Pumpkin Muffin: 47 g sugars, 530 calories
  • Most Sugar-Packed Kids Meal - Oscar Mayer Maxed Out Turkey & Cheddar Cracker Combo Lunchables: 61 g sugars, 680 calories
  • Most Sugar-Packed Breakfast - Bob Evans? Stacked & Stuffed Strawberry Banana Cream Hotcakes: 102 g sugars, 1,200 calories
  • The Most Sugar-Packed Food in America - Baskin Robbins Large York® Peppermint Pattie Shake: 281 g sugars, 2,210 calories
Baskin Robbins' line of candy-based beverages are horrendous on so many accounts: Each large shake has a day?s worth of calories, up to three days of saturated fat, and an ingredient list so long--some more than seven inches--it requires an advanced degree in chemistry to decipher. This particular caloric catastrophe has more sugar than 11 Peppermint Patties! MORE

life energy pack

Life Energy Pack

Hook your body up to a life energy battery! Give your body the energy it needs to heal itself. Most naturopathic physicians will tell you that the main problem with giving herbal formulas or homeopathics, is that very often their patients' bodies lack enough ENERGY to fully utilize the healing properties of the medicines. To help fix this, the doctors will then prescribe dietary fasts, massage or acupuncture in an attempt to get energy into the body system. Once this has been done, then the herbal formulas will have much more punch and less waste.

Modern-day quantum physics has begun to scientifically explain these ancient practices, and new technologies are now available as a result. Quantum physics refers to this life energy, or "chi," as SUBTLE ENERGY. Without having to get too technical, the laws of quantum physics allow that life energy can be transferred from one substance to another. This is where the Life Energy Super Pack comes in... >>>> MORE INFO

By Dr. DicQie Fuller-Looney, Women's Health is a definitive look at the relationship between digestive enzymes and hormones, and how hormonal imbalances in women can be traced back to enzyme deficiencies. This book is a logical, no-nonsense evaluation of the current medical approaches that overlook digestive enzymes as an ultimate solution. Dr. Fuller-Looney makes her case by showing that the symptoms of protein malabsorption are the same as the symptoms of menopause. DOWNLOAD HERE
